For too long has the Bronx been relegated to being the "ugly sister" of the 5 boroughs.

Routinely called Dirty, Dangerous and Decrepit. The Bronx has been put down for long enough.

It is our turn to tell OUR story. It is time to take a stand and speak our TRUTH that only BRONX voices can.

Our team seeks to be on the cusp on any and all innovations, challenges, and changes that happen in our humble home of the BX.

Founded in 2025 by Ivan D. Montoya aka Ivan D. Political Scientist on Tik Tok. A NYC native born and bred, the Bronx is the only true home Ivan has ever known. Educating himself at Manhattan College, Ivan has dedicated himself to work in service of those in need of our borough. He has years of social service work based in Bronx.

Feeling a need to share his passion and his knowledge with all Bronxites led him to create this very page you find yourself on.

Ivan began his work on Tik Tok highlighting problems, people, and issues centered in the Boogie Down Bronx. He decided the best way to be of service to his community was to not do it alone.

With a team of grass roots of volunteers we at the Bronx Bugle seek to bring a voice to our borough that has been left voiceless for much too long. With your continued help and support we together will create a news page that the Bronx can be proud of.
